Esteemed jazz vocalist Katia Cardenas returns to kj’s hideaway with a fresh new set of original songs, and revered covers. After presenting “Brave Enough: A Tribute to Sara Bareilles” at kj’s throughout 2022, and years of performing jazz and R&B covers, Katia is excited to be performing her own material.

Written primarily during the pandemic, these songs reflect a new direction for Katia as she explores her own voice, shares her honest experiences of love and learning, backed by her favorite musicians: Ted Godbout (keys), Graydon Peterson (bass) and Beth Varela (drums, cello, back up vocals), and some special guests.
