Big Blue Moon is a modern jazz trio from south Minneapolis that is in constant motion of creation and improvisation, without worrying too much about what jazz "should" be. This trio draws from several decades of jazz history to create sounds that are both traditional and modern, and the group features a flexible lineup built around St. Olaf Graduate Nick Bhalla's piano.
